Anant Nahata is the Managing Director and majority owner of Exicom Tele-Systems; a company, which provides critical power solutions and electric mobility ecosystem in India. After completing his graduation from University of Pennsylvania, he worked in New York for two years at Credit Suisse Investment Banking division and has done a series of entrepreneurial ventures after that.

He has been associated with Exicom since 2009 and has played a key role in diversifying company’s operations from power electronics business into two key pieces of mobility ecosystem – Li-ion batteries and EV Chargers. In a short span of time, he has led Exicom to become a leading company in India for both these areas. From a INR 60 Cr company in 2010, Exicom has grown to be about a INR 900 Cr in 2022 company with vertical integrated operations from R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales and service. It has overseas presence in South East Asia and Africa.

He incubated Infotel Broadband Services Ltd. in 2010 for providing 4G services in India which later got acquired by Reliance Industries after winning Pan India telecom service license. In 2011, he promoted KOOVS.com and collaborated with multiple investors and designers from London and expanded it to be the first online fast fashion brand in India. Koovs went public on AIM stock market in London in 2014 within 4 years of its operations.

Anant loves playing tennis and follows the sport passionately. Other hobbies include reading and travelling and he loves experiencing different cultures, places and meeting new people. More recently, he has developed interest in meditation and spirituality.
